UPDATE 1.3

In this new update, there have been quite a few new additions and some quality of life improvements. Heres a rundown of everything that is packed into this update.

COOKING SYSTEM

A new cooking system has been added! You will be able to find grocery stores and restaurants in a few of the cities scattered across the world map. In these stores you can buy ingredients and recipe books to unlock and cook meals. Food serves as a nice alternative to potions and can even be more effective than other restorative items if you're willing to cook new meals. Some ingredients can only be found in certain towns, so you may have to explore the world a bit if you want to unlock every recipe!

BATTLE VOICES

The six main party members of the game now have voice lines that will play during battles. These cover attacks, taking damage, and using skills.

CHARACTER PORTRAITS IN MENU

New portraits have been added to the playable characters in the menus that have been drawn by me personally!

NEW OPTIONS UI AND DIFFICULTY SLIDER

The options menu now has way more options and is much more intuitive than the default system. A new difficulty slider has also been added if you want to make the game less or more challenging. Sound and more options can also be adjusted.

IMPROVED STATUS MENUS

There are lots more stats and overall data that is displayed in the status menus. Stat increases are also now shown when leveling up during battles.

FIXES & CHANGES

• Buffed Reina's "Regroup" skill. Increased HP percentage gained.
• Increased JP cost of skills for certain characters.
• Improved Flint's "Steal" ability.  
• Various collision and sprite fixes.

I think that covers anything. I will add any changes that I might have missed if they come up.
